Chapman Partnership Food Service & Toy Drive

In a mission prompted by one of our church's younger members, Hayden Midyette, a toy drive was organized to benefit the resident children at Chapman Partnership for the Homeless. Our congregation donated toys and more than $1,000 (which was used to buy gift cards), ensuring that each of the 113 children and youth at the shelter got to open a gift of their very own.
Handing out the toys was "Santa" Jess, with the help of some of the youth and adult members of our church, on the same evening that the church served meals to all the Chapman residents. Feeding bodies and spirits - way to go, First Coral Gables!
